[Hiring] Team Lead, Non-Delegated Purchase Review @The Loan Store, Inc.

Role Description

The Non-Delegated Purchase Review Team Lead helps manage the daily operations of the purchase review department, ensuring the timely, accurate, and compliant purchase review of submitted loans. This role assists the senior director with workflow, purchase reviews, and conditions. The Team Lead serves as a liaison and subject matter expert for investor and agency guidelines as well as internal policies for various loan types including Conventional, FHA, VA, and Non-QM.

• Provides support and guidance to the non-delegated purchase review team.
• Supports the Senior Director with oversight of day-to-day performance metrics and maintaining SLA’s.
• Maintains process and procedure materials to ensure compliance with internal policies and external investor/agency requirements.
• Maintains knowledge of all Non-Del products offerings for Conventional, FHA, VA, and Non-QM loans.
• Assists with the roll out of new products, ensuring a smooth and compliant addition to the Non-Delegated suite of product offerings.
• Monitors daily pipelines to manage workloads, meet deadlines, and ensure service level standards are maintained.
• Acts as a subject matter expert and escalation point for purchase review issues, discrepancies, and escalations.
• Assists with conducting quality control reviews to ensure consistency and positive customer service experience.
• Trains, mentors, and supports new team members and cross trains existing team members as needed.
• Recommends and implements process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the purchase review team.
• Helps track team performance metrics and report results to senior director.
• Heads up special projects as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in mortgage operations, and a minimum of 2+ years of experience in Non-Delegated Purchase Review.
• Detailed understanding of life of loan.
• High level of TRID and compliance knowledge.
• Familiarity with investor and agency guidelines for Conventional, FHA, VA, and Non-QM loans.
• Proficiency in loan origination systems (e.g., Encompass).
• High attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective leadership and communication abilities.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with tight deadlines.
