[Hiring] Systems Analyst - IBM Financial Transaction Manager @Canus Tech

Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Systems Analyst - IBM Financial Transaction Manager (FTM) with strong expertise in banking and payment-processing systems. The candidate will analyze business and technical requirements, system integrations, and transaction workflows and support the implementation, quality, reliability, and validation of IBM FTM and related financial transaction processing systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business, functional, and technical requirements for IBM FTM and related banking/payment-processing systems and translate them into system specifications, transaction flows, and validation requirements.
• Analyze and validate payment-processing workflows including ACH, Check, Wire, Zelle, and related banking transactions.
• Analyze system interfaces, message flows, data mappings, databases, APIs, IBM MQ, WebSphere, middleware, and upstream/downstream integrations.
• Design and execute functional, system, integration, regression, API, and end-to-end validation scenarios based on business and system requirements.
• Utilize appropriate testing tools to validate system functionality, transaction processing, interfaces, and integration requirements.
• Analyze system defects and transaction-processing failures, perform root-cause analysis, and work with development and technical teams to identify and validate solutions.
• Use SQL and database analysis to validate transaction processing, interfaces, and data integrity across integrated systems.
• Perform impact analysis for application enhancements, configuration changes, defect fixes, and new business requirements.
• Participate in requirements reviews, solution reviews, defect analysis, Agile ceremonies, CI/CD activities, and system implementation support.
• Ensure financial transaction processing solutions meet applicable business, technical, security, operational, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in systems analysis, enterprise application analysis, system integration, validation, or related IT functions.
• Strong hands-on experience with IBM Financial Transaction Manager (FTM).
• Strong knowledge of banking and payment systems, including ACH, Check, Wire, Zelle, and related transaction-processing workflows.
• Experience analyzing APIs and system interfaces using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as DB2, Oracle, or equivalent.
• Experience with system validation and automation tools such as Selenium, UFT, Cypress, or equivalent.
• Understanding of IBM MQ, WebSphere Application Server, middleware, and integrated transaction-processing systems.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum and CI/CD environments.
• Financial Services, Banking, Payment Processing, or domain experience.
