Role Description

The SVP, Enterprise Performance owns the enterprise-wide discipline of measuring, managing, and improving performance across the organization. This role brings structure, rigor, and accountability to how the organization plans, tracks, and improves performance, partnering closely with the President, CEO, board, and executive leadership team (ELT) to ensure the company's most critical priorities are grounded in operational and financial reality and translate into measurable results.

The SVP brings a strong analytical and financial foundation to this work. This person owns the enterprise performance management function end-to-end, including strategic planning support, KPI and scorecard infrastructure, enterprise performance analytics, and driving improvement in underperforming markets. The role works closely with Finance to support annual budgeting and forecasting processes while serving as a strategic partner to the President on enterprise priorities and cross-functional execution.

What You Will Do

  • Own enterprise-wide strategic planning processes and partner closely with Finance, Operations, and business unit leaders to support annual budgeting and forecasting activities across the enterprise.
  • Design, build, and continuously evolve the KPI and scorecard infrastructure used by field leadership, and the executive team to drive visibility, accountability, and performance improvement.
  • Establish and run business review cadences that convert performance data into clear ownership and action.
  • Translate complex operational and financial data into clear narratives and recommendations for the President, CEO, ELT, and board.
  • Partner with operational leadership to diagnose underperformance and co-develop actionable improvement plans, tracking execution to results.
  • Bring an analytical lens to staffing models, labor practices, and cost structures to identify and drive margin improvement opportunities across the enterprise.
  • Lead rapid scenario modeling and executive-ready recommendations in response to disruption (e.g., regulatory change, reimbursement shifts, macro shocks).
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the President on enterprise priorities, high-stakes decisions, and emerging risks and opportunities, grounded in performance data.
  • Prepare board and ELT materials, synthesizing performance data, market intelligence, and operational updates into clear, decision-ready reporting.
  • Track and drive accountability on enterprise-wide strategic initiatives, ensuring cross-functional commitments convert into measurable progress.
  • Act as the connective tissue across Finance, Operations, Technology, HR, and Strategy to ensure alignment on enterprise performance priorities.
  • Lead or co-lead special projects on behalf of the President or CEO, including new market entry/start-up analysis, and organizational restructuring.
  • Identify gaps in process, communication, or accountability across the organization and design solutions to close them.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of progressive experience in financial planning & analysis, strategy, operations, or enterprise performance management.
  • Prior experience at the VP level or above, with direct exposure to board and executive-level reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-wide planning, budgeting, or performance management processes.
  • Proven track record building and scaling KPI frameworks, scorecards, or performance management infrastructure.
  • Strong track record partnering with and influencing senior executives and operational leadership without direct authority.
  • Experience supporting major organizational transitions (e.g., regulatory change, crisis response, or large-scale operational shifts) strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complexity into clear, executive-ready narratives.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

Benefits

  • Flexible schedules.
  • Remote-first culture.
  • Nationally recognized wellness program.
  • Performance-based bonus eligibility.
  • Equity in the company.
