[Hiring] Statistical and Psychologist Research Professional @Reef Systems

Role Description

The contractor shall meet all requirements per the basic contract and provide professionally and technically qualified individual(s) to perform all tasks in the following paragraphs to fulfill the requirements of this task order.

• Provide subject matter expertise to USAFSAM Department of Aerospace Medicine (USAFSAM/FE), Aerospace Medicine Studies and Analysis Division (FES), Aeromedical Operational and Clinical Psychology Branch (USAFSAM/FESP).
• Expand consultation and research capabilities to improve capabilities for assessing, monitoring, training, and treating airmen in high risk, high demand career fields.
• Assist in data collection, analyses, report writing, and general management of research studies and outcome products.
• Conduct scientific research design, professional updates of the scientific literature, database management, data collection, and statistical analysis.
• Interface with USAFSAM/FESP Aeromedical staff and 711th Human Performance Wing (711th HPW) staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a master’s degree specializing in Research Psychology, Industrial Organizational Psychology, or a related Psychology discipline.
• Expert knowledge with at least 5 years of experience in database development, gathering and organizing data, research report writing, and developing actionable recommendations.
• At least 5 years of experience designing and conducting statistical data analysis using software such as JMP, SPSS, R, etc.
• At least 5 years of experience developing products presenting research outcomes, including professional presentations and peer-reviewed publications.
• At least 5 years of experience in administrative management regarding study design, methodology, and dissemination of results.
• Signed Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) in place with their company.

Requirements

• Assist in the development and execution of a comprehensive study protocol.
• Provide customer leadership with a relevant scientific literature review and data analyses.
• Confer with and advise USAFSAM/FESP professional staff regarding optimal statistical approaches.
• Perform statistical analyses of study data using descriptive and inferential statistical procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of screening data and technical reports.
• Prepare reports of scientific/statistical results in support of scientific literature publication.
• Travel as needed for professional support, customer consultations, and research presentations.
• Responsible for data management and coordinating processes with project team members.
• Arrange and facilitate discussions and participate in research team meetings.
• Support research endeavors in case of unexpected interruptions in research capabilities.

Deliverable

• Monthly Contractor Progress, Status and Management Report (PSMR) detailing project status and work accomplished.
• Report includes financial status describing hours and costs expended per individual.
• Identify any issues/problems anticipated in schedule or cost ceiling during the next reporting period.
