[Hiring] Sr. Safety Engineer @Littelfuse

Role Description

This role involves analyzing manufacturing locations to ensure compliance with local safety procedures and environmental factors.

• Proposes solutions to reduce risk and environmental impact while balancing cost and manufacturing needs
• Implements safety programs to lower associated risks to staff
• Ensures compliance with local governmental regulations and assists with audits/governmental agency visits
• Analyzes data to develop and implement strategies to lower the risk of accidents, injuries, and environmental dangers
• Designs process improvements to lower the risk of safety incidents and environmental impact while balancing manufacturing procedures and production requirements
• Understands pending regulatory changes that impact manufacturing location and implements changes to remain compliant with local laws
• Ensures compliance with governmental regulations for safety and health and assists with audits
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or university degree
• 5+ years of related work experience
• Experience with global manufacturing companies preferred
• Advanced knowledge in MS Office
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong communication skills
• High attention to detail
