Role Description

This position is for a Sr. IT Security Specialist with a Network security and/or a Web security background who will be responsible for managing the strategic roadmap for these areas within Information Security.

  • Will be responsible for the ownership and completion of the Network and Web security roadmaps.
  • Work closely with the VP of Network, Architecture & Cloud security to understand the strategic direction for the department and plan/own roadmap items respectively.
  • Collaborate with the other roadmap owners for the various departments that make up Information Security to ensure the strategic direction of Information Security is established and followed.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams and the business when impacted to establish priority and drive results towards defined objectives.
  • Work with multiple levels of management to gain consensus and drive results.
  • Ongoing ownership and management of risks and technical dependencies.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Information Security.
  • Network security and/or Web security experience strongly preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate across many different levels of leadership/technical understanding.
  • Motivated self-starter.
  • Ability to work well with others to gain consensus.
