Role Description

This role involves contributing to the development of state-of-the-art submarines for the US Navy.

• Develop and review changes to electrical system diagrams including system interfaces
• Evaluate electrical cableways design and routing drawings
• Troubleshoot issues identified by construction team
• Write procedures to test and maintain electrical systems
• Interface with internal customers to ensure the system is installed to plan
• Work with operations to support installation and test

Qualifications

• A Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or similar electrical education (BS degree)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Level Clearance
• 10 or more years of post graduate engineering experience

Requirements

• Prior defense contractor systems engineering experience (preferred)
• Former submarine service (preferred)
• Shipyard/manufacturing experience (preferred)
