[Hiring] Solutions Architect @ScorePlay

Role Description

Your mission is to help our European prospects and customers understand what "good" looks like technically, then design a ScorePlay-backed workflow that actually works in the real world.

• Partner closely with Sales across EMEA: scoping needs, answering technical questions, owning RFP responses, and building trust with media, production and IT stakeholders.
• Improve how we scope and price deals, build repeatable templates, and coordinate with partners when a solution involves more than just ScorePlay.
• Act as a translator and trusted advisor, balancing customer reality with engineering context.

Qualifications

• Around 2 to 5 years in a technical role with real customer exposure (e.g., Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Implementation, Technical Account Management).
• Genuinely strong interpersonal skills; ability to engage with mixed technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

• Own ScorePlay's response to RFPs and tenders across EMEA, end to end.
• Assemble documents by collaborating with Sales, Product, and Engineering.
• Be the technical voice in complex evaluations, including archive migration and multi-system environments.
• Join sales cycles once conversations become technical to uncover constraints and map workflows.
• Translate customer goals into clear end-to-end workflows: capture, ingest, management in ScorePlay, distribution.
• Produce architecture diagrams and workflow maps for alignment among technical and non-technical audiences.
• Partner with Sales on deal scoping and cost inputs.
• Build documentation, templates, and technical collateral for Sales.
• Answer day-to-day technical questions from salespeople across the region.
• Feed recurring workflow patterns and customer constraints back into Product and Tech.
• Build and manage relationships with systems integrators and workflow vendors.
• Work closely with the Deployment Engineer for a clean handover post-sign implementation.
• Occasionally assist on the customer's side to unblock progress.

Location and travel

• Remote, anywhere in Western Europe, with a requirement to live within about an hour of a major international airport.
• Travel roughly 20-30% of the time, mostly to client sites and industry conferences.
• Preferred locations include UK and Ireland, France, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, and the Nordics.
