[Hiring] Solutions Architect @DuploCloud

Role Description

DuploCloud is looking for a Solutions Architect with a demonstrated background in cloud technologies, DevOps and platform engineering, and AI-driven automation, who drives customer success through solution architecture. This is a customer-facing technical pre-sales role: you will work hand-in-hand with the Sales organization from the first technical conversation with a prospect through a successful proof of concept, deal conversion, and hand-off to our Onboarding and Forward Deployed Engineering teams. The heart of the role is understanding how a prospect actually runs operations today and then showing them, concretely and in their own terms, how DuploCloud solves their pain points.

• Lead technical discovery conversations with prospects' DevOps, platform engineering, SRE and engineering leadership to deeply understand their current ops workflows.
• Map the prospect's workflows onto DuploCloud's 70/30 model.
• Design and build a custom agent tailored to the prospect's specific use case.
• Deliver compelling live demos and scoped proofs of concept (PoC/PoV).
• Perform detailed infrastructure assessments of prospects' existing environments.
• Own technical objection handling, architecture and security reviews.
• Partner closely with the Onboarding and Forward Deployed Engineering teams for a successful hand-off.
• Feed field learnings back to Product and Engineering, and contribute reusable Agents, skills and demo assets to our Agent library.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of demonstrated experience as a solutions architect, cloud architect, DevOps/platform engineer, or SRE.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP); on-prem infrastructure experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, ECS and similar container orchestration technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Terraform and similar IaC technologies, and of CI/CD systems (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Argo CD).
• Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants and agentic tooling.
• Proven ability to run technical discovery.
• Problem solver who can interpret sophisticated problem statements.
• Strong presenter and demo storyteller.
• Able to produce clear written artifacts.
• Working understanding of security and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI).
• Scripting or programming proficiency (e.g., Python, Bash, Go).
• Dynamic team member who will both teach and learn from all of us on the Solutions Engineering team.
• Enjoy helping customers through their infrastructure and AI transformation.
• Experience with platform engineering / IDP tooling, observability stacks, or early-stage startup environments.
