[Hiring] Social Security Disability Case Manager @Mindset

Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Security Disability Claims Case Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Gathering required documentation and information from clients to support their claims.
• Providing guidance and support to clients throughout the claims process which can be lengthy.
• Advocating on behalf of clients to ensure that their claims are processed accurately and efficiently.
• Communicating with social security administration officials to resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise.
• Managing high call volume.
• Keeping detailed records of client interactions and claim status updates.
• Staying up-to-date on changes to social security policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field (preferred).
• Previous experience working with social security claims or similar benefits programs.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to empathize with clients and provide compassionate support.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Google Suite and other relevant software programs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of social security policies and procedures (preferred).

Requirements

• Experience working in a remote or virtual office environment (preferred).
• Knowledge of virtual phone systems and online scheduling software.
