[Hiring] Smart Building Analyst @JLL

Role Description

This role provides data-driven facilities management insights to JLL clients’ facilities using JLL’s Smart Building Platform (SBP), SkySpark by SkyFoundry, and additional JLL tools and platforms that support our Intelligent Operations Center (IOC) programs. This position is virtual, with expected significant overlap with U.S. Eastern Time.

The candidate will coordinate resolution of recommended enhancements, improved control strategies, and other changes to drive towards the lowest total cost of ownership with facility maintenance teams and customers. The ideal candidate will have a combination of experience in:

Key Responsibilities

• Defining and implementing new Smart Building Platform installations
• Review documentation from existing mechanical systems to identify key monitoring points
• Analyze client mechanical system documentation and deliver insights through SkySpark and SBP analytics
• Work with project teams to integrate different building management/automation systems
• Establish connections to remote systems with vendors, clients, and site facility teams
• Review output of Smart Building Platform and SkySpark analytics
• Ensure data quality and continuous data flow from all monitored systems
• Troubleshoot connection issues with remote systems
• Develop new analytics in the Smart Building Platform
• Utilize artificial intelligence in innovative ways to strengthen the Smart Building Platform Deliverable
• Perform energy analysis and provide energy savings calculations
• Analyze sequences of operation to suggest better control strategies
• Communicate results of analysis to various levels of the organization
• Support site engineering teams in troubleshooting efforts
• Report results regularly using standardized reporting through SBP
• Train clients to review SBP’s analytics
• Assist clients in developing custom dashboards on the SBP
• Develop case studies and reports for business development efforts
• Identify areas of focus to reduce costs or expand services
• Work with other groups within JLL to refine and develop new products and services

Qualifications

• BS in technical field (Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar)
• 3+ years of hands-on SkySpark Analytical experience
• 2+ years of relevant facilities energy management experience
• Experience with HVAC, electrical, mechanical, building automation systems
• Strong oral and written communication skills in Business English
• MS Office proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Presentation skills
