Role Description
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Slots Mathematician Lead to join our innovative team and contribute to the development of engaging and profitable gaming experiences. In this role, you will immerse yourself in the intricacies of game design and mathematical modeling, utilizing your expertise to analyze and optimize game mechanics and payout structures.
- Collaborate with game designers and software developers to create compelling slot algorithms
- Ensure fair and entertaining gameplay
- Enhance player engagement and drive the success of our slots portfolio
- Deliver your game to other teams
Qualifications
- Talent for solving abstract and highly complex math problems
- High attention to detail: the ability to spot even small mistakes in your math models and troubleshoot them
- Ability to quickly prototype rough ideas
- Interest in games both from a developer and player point of view
- Data-driven and analytical mindset in decision-making
- Motivated by challenges and stretch goals
Requirements
- Experience working as a game mathematician in online gambling (huge plus)
- Experience in game development (huge plus)
- Experience in leading or mentoring team members and participating in cross-team communications (huge plus)
- Strong mathematical intuition, creativity, and curiosity (huge plus)
- Understanding of how slot games work and how to make game mechanics that are fun to play within desired game parameters (RTP, volatility, etc) (huge plus)
- Ability to look at games from players’ point of view (huge plus)
- Practical experience with workflow management tools (Jira), collaboration software (Confluence), and data analytics platforms (Tableau, Google Analytics) (huge plus)
