[Hiring] Simulation Consultant @SimWell

Role Description

As a Simulation Consultant, your mission will be to develop high-impact simulation models that address the challenges faced by world-class organizations. This role is ideal for experienced engineers with a creative mindset, strong analytical skills, and a deep interest in simulation. You will directly contribute to SimWell’s continued success by solving real business problems and enhancing operational performance for our clients. This is a full-time remote position. Responsibilities and Duties

• Develop discrete-event and agent-based simulation models to evaluate client operations, processes, and proposed solutions.
• Collect, validate, and analyze data while detailing model assumptions and functional specifications based on client needs.
• Analyze model outputs and develop practical insights and recommendations.
• Work as part of an agile project team to deliver simulation projects.
• Present results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Provide training and support to the client throughout project delivery.
• Contribute to the continued development of SimWell’s simulation practices, tools, and delivery methods.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience developing Simio simulation models and working on simulation projects utilizing Simio.
• 3+ years of experience with simulation.
• Strong understanding of simulation modeling principles and approaches.
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, operations research, or similar field.
• A flexible, collaborative teammate comfortable working in a team-oriented, fast-paced, virtual environment.
• Effective and strong problem-solving skills.
• Object-oriented programming skills (Java, Python, etc.).
• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).

Requirements

• Professional proficiency in English and either Spanish or French (preferred).
• Experience with manufacturing environment (nice to have).
• Experience in data science and artificial intelligence (nice to have).
• Proficiency in PowerBI or similar tool (nice to have).
