[Hiring] Senior Technical Operations Engineer @Datahash

Role Description

We are looking for a Senior Technical Operations Engineer to lead complex analytics and MarTech implementations, design technical solutions, and own delivery for key enterprise clients. This is a hands-on senior role combining solution architecture, implementation, troubleshooting, client management, and team mentorship. You will also contribute to presales discussions, improve internal delivery processes, and help maintain a high standard of technical quality across projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex client onboarding, tracking implementations, audits, and troubleshooting engagements.
• Design scalable technical solutions for web tracking, server-side tracking, Conversion APIs, and first-party data integrations.
• Own technical delivery for key enterprise clients, from requirement gathering and solution design through implementation, validation, launch, and monitoring.
• Architect and review implementations using Google Tag Manager, server-side GTM, GA4, APIs, cloud platforms, SQL, and BigQuery.
• Lead integrations with advertising platforms such as Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, and other marketing destinations.
• Diagnose complex issues involving JavaScript, data layers, cookies, browser and server requests, API payloads, authentication, attribution, and event deduplication.
• Conduct detailed tracking and attribution audits, identify root causes, and present actionable recommendations to clients.
• Act as a senior technical point of contact for clients, internal stakeholders, and external technology partners.
• Translate business and measurement requirements into clear implementation plans and technical specifications.
• Review the work of other team members and ensure implementations meet Datahash’s quality and documentation standards.
• Mentor junior and mid-level team members through technical guidance, knowledge-sharing sessions, and project support.
• Help improve implementation frameworks, QA processes, monitoring systems, documentation, and operational workflows.
• Support presales and solutioning by participating in discovery calls, assessing technical feasibility, and defining proposed architectures.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to communicate recurring client requirements, integration challenges, and product improvement opportunities.
• Lead incident investigations and coordinate timely resolution of critical data-delivery issues.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in digital analytics, MarTech, AdTech, technical operations, analytics consulting, or a related field.
• Advanced hands-on experience with Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4.
• Strong experience implementing or supporting server-side tracking and server-side GTM.
• Strong JavaScript skills for tracking implementation, customization, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Experience designing and troubleshooting REST API integrations, JSON payloads, authentication flows, and server-to-server data transmission.
• Hands-on experience with Conversion APIs or server-side integrations for major advertising platforms.
• Strong working knowledge of SQL, BigQuery, databases, and data-validation techniques.
• Experience working with cloud infrastructure such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or similar services.
• Strong understanding of browser tracking, cookies, first-party data, attribution, event deduplication, data privacy, and consent management.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex client-facing technical projects.
• Ability to explain technical architecture, risks, and recommendations clearly to both engineering teams and senior business stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring team members, reviewing technical work, or leading project delivery.
• Strong ownership, prioritization, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with mobile app analytics, Firebase, and mobile measurement partners.
• Experience working with consent management platforms and privacy-conscious measurement solutions.
• Previous experience in a SaaS, analytics consulting, agency, or enterprise MarTech environment.
• Experience contributing to presales discovery, solution design, estimates, or technical proposals.
• Familiarity with monitoring, alerting, logging, and incident-management practices.
