[Hiring] Senior Survey Programmer @TGM Research

Role Description

To support our global growth, our market research company is looking for a Senior Survey Programmer to design, build, and deliver accurate, high-quality online questionnaires that meet client specifications, while maintaining the speed and precision required in a dynamic environment.

As a Senior Survey Programmer at TGM Research reporting to the Survey Programming Manager, you will be supporting our Client Service team by programming, testing, and troubleshooting online surveys to ensure a seamless, error-free experience for clients worldwide. Because of our global footprint and clients from all regions, you will be required to work in defined shifts covering different time zones.

This role will require strong organization, excellent time and project management skills, proactivity, and communication with colleagues and other departments within the company.

Responsibilities

• Programming of online questionnaires based on the information provided by the client/project manager (this includes survey creation, setting filters and quotas, managing languages, exporting and reporting).
• Defining the details related to the survey programming, like plan, timeline, resource required, and potential issues.
• Testing a survey thoroughly and providing a high-quality link to the client in coordination with project managers.
• Debugging and correcting coding issues.
• Acting as a consultant with project managers and clients to optimize programming of the online surveys for respondents.
• Working in the night shift supporting projects in different time zones (current needs: 8am-5pm UTC).

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in working in the market research environment, survey programming and/or web development, or a University degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript, XML, and at least one programming language used for dynamic web development.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken; knowledge of an additional language is an advantage.
• Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, without compromising quality or deadlines.
• Sharp attention to detail, with a strong drive to deliver accurate and "error-free" programmed surveys.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently identify root causes and effective solutions.
• Fast learner, able to quickly understand and apply new technologies, platforms, methodologies, and project requirements.
• Open to new solutions and ways of working, with a continuous improvement and automation mindset.
• Ability to use AI tools effectively and responsibly to improve productivity, troubleshooting, scripting, quality control, and automation, while validating outputs and following company data-security requirements.
• A true team player who communicates well with other stakeholders and is willing to share knowledge and best practices with the team.
• Senior-level ownership and independence, including the ability to anticipate potential issues, recommend solutions, and improve existing scripting processes rather than only execute assigned tasks.
• Willing and able to work flexible shifts when required.

Requirements

• Familiarity with SQL platforms such as Confirmit, Decipher or Alchemer.
• Experience with SPSS.
