Role Description
The Senior Strategy Advancement Professional provides data-based strategic direction to identify and address the Primary Care Organization's total cost of care opportunities. This role involves:
- Providing business intelligence and strategic planning support for Specialty-related initiatives.
- Analyzing moderately complex to complex issues requiring in-depth evaluation of economic, clinical, and operational factors.
- Supporting the development, execution, and performance of specialty care initiatives across the organization.
- Leveraging data analytics, financial acumen, and strategic insights to drive value-based specialty care programs.
- Collaborating with market leadership, executive stakeholders, and cross-functional teams for data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the design, implementation, and evaluation of specialty care strategies aligned with value-based care objectives.
- Developing financial models and analyses to assess specialty care program performance.
- Partnering with market leadership on contracting strategies and value-based payment arrangements.
- Analyzing utilization, quality, and financial data to identify performance improvement opportunities.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate data insights into actionable business strategies.
- Creating executive-level presentations and reports to communicate findings and recommendations.
- Monitoring regulatory and industry trends in specialty care and value-based care.
- Assisting in the development of performance dashboards and scorecards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health Administration, Public Health, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of three years of experience in healthcare analytics, strategy, or financial analysis.
- Experience in value-based care or specialty care.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, financial modeling, and performance measurement.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information to executive audiences.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
- Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement models, provider network management, and value-based care principles.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree (preferred).
- Experience in specialty care service lines specific to cardiology, nephrology, orthopedics, and oncology (preferred).
- Familiarity with risk adjustment methodologies and population health analytics (preferred).
- Experience supporting provider contracting and negotiations (preferred).
