Role Description

The Senior Site Contracts Lead is responsible for overseeing site contract negotiations and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Key responsibilities include:

• Establishing, maintaining, and updating training material for the site contracts lead team and site contract negotiators.
• Serving as a subject matter expert to resolve global site contracting issues and acting as an escalation point for internal customers.
• Overseeing negotiations of clinical study agreements (CTAs) and driving document finalization and execution.
• Providing oversight of contract and budget negotiation status and managing escalations of queries to sponsor decision-makers.
• Advising study teams and sponsors on industry trends and potential risks in negotiations.
• Planning contract execution strategies for assigned studies and coordinating with internal stakeholders.
• Coordinating communications between study team stakeholders and global site contract negotiators.
• Preparing site contractual templates and ensuring alignment with company standards.
• Identifying operational risks in site contracts and proactively providing solutions.
• Creating and maintaining document status reports and updating department tools.
• Collaborating with legal, finance, and clinical operations departments on budgetary issues.
• Managing discussions around fair market value of investigator budgets during negotiations.
• Identifying best practices and recommending solutions for project issues.
• Training and mentoring less experienced staff on department SOPs and processes.
• Participating in business development presentations as a subject matter expert.
• Performing other work-related duties as assigned, with minimal travel required (up to 25%).
