[Hiring] Senior Risk Tools & Automation Lead @Airbnb

Role Description

The Payments Risk Operations team protects Airbnb's guests, hosts, and the platform from fraud, financial loss, and abuse. As the Senior Risk Tools & Automation Lead, you will own the end-to-end agent experience for risk and fraud operations.

• Define what investigators need and design the next generation of the risk workbench.
• Drive automation through process efficiencies and AI.
• Reduce manual effort, shorten handle times, improve decision quality.
• Focus experts on the most complex cases.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in operations, program management, or product management.
• 5+ years of experience in fraud, payment risk, trust and safety, or a related investigations industry.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• Proven track record of writing successful business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Familiarity with user experience testing and design.
• Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience identifying and delivering automation or process efficiency improvements at scale.
• Strong analytical skills, with comfort using data to size opportunities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Requirements

• Own the end-to-end agent experience across risk and fraud investigation workflows.
• Establish feedback loops to capture agent needs.
• Translate operational needs into clear, prioritized business requirements.
• Manage the operational risk tooling roadmap and backlog.
• Drive user acceptance testing (UAT) and post-launch measurement.
• Define the long-term vision for a unified risk workbench.
• Identify, size, and prioritize automation opportunities.
• Serve as the primary operations policy partner to various teams.
• Communicate roadmaps, launches, and impact clearly.

Benefits

• Base pay range: ₹3,780,000 — ₹5,400,000 INR.
