[Hiring] Senior Quantity Surveyor @Solomons Europe

Role Description

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll be a trusted commercial advisor seconded and embedded within client delivery teams. No two secondments are the same — you’ll work with client organisations, Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors, and specialist subcontractors across diverse sectors.

• Lead on NEC4 subcontract procurement, administration, and cost forecasting.
• Collaborate closely with the Solomons management team, sharing insights and shaping solutions.
• Tackle complex project challenges and drive commercial clarity.
• Build relationships and solve problems in real time on-site.
• Spot opportunities and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or Engineering (HNC/HND considered).
• Client-focused, commercially astute, and skilled in fostering collaboration and accountability.
• Ideally hold a professional membership (or working towards) with RICS, CIPS, or ICE preferred.
• Strong understanding of NEC4 contracts and contract strategies, or similar contractual forms.
• Effective communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
• Ability and willingness to work collaboratively on-site with project teams to deliver success.

• Full UK driving license and access to a car for business travel.
