    • Review and validate purchase requisitions for completeness, policy alignment, and appropriate spend authorization before PO issuance.
  • Change Orders & Vendor Governance
    • Administer change order processes, including documentation, pricing validation, budget impact review, and approval routing per established protocols.
    • Monitor change order volume, costs, and trends; surface escalation needs and improvement opportunities to the Director.
    • Support vendor lifecycle management activities, including onboarding, renewals, performance tracking, and offboarding.
    • Identify and help remediate unauthorized spend and policy exceptions.
  • AI & Automation
    • Support evaluation and deployment of AI-enabled tools and workflow automation solutions, partnering with IT and the Director to operationalize new capabilities.
    • Drive user adoption and change management for new procurement tools and platforms through training, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
    • Identify manual process gaps and recommend automation opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Metrics & Continuous Improvement
    • Track and report on procurement KPIs including PR-to-PO cycle time, throughput, PO accuracy, CO rate, and policy compliance; deliver regular operational reporting to the Director.
    • Conduct root-cause analyses on performance gaps and lead corrective action plans.
    • Partner with the Director on benchmarking, process design, and strategic initiatives to improve scalability and stakeholder experience.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of progressive procurement, procure-to-pay, finance operations, or supply chain experience; 2+ years in a management or team lead role.
  • Demonstrated experience managing PR, PO, and CO workflows in enterprise or high-growth environments.
  • Track record of process improvement, operational standardization, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Experience supporting governance, internal controls, compliance, and audit-readiness frameworks.
