Role Description

Nexttec Technology Outsourcing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Hospitality PMS Senior Installer to join our client on a full-time basis. We are looking for an experienced Senior PMS Installer to lead the remote implementation, configuration, and support of Oracle OPERA Cloud for our customers. The role combines hands-on technical work with remote customer training and vendor coordination. The ideal candidate ensures every implementation is delivered on time, matching the customer's operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation, Training & Support:
  • Conduct the full technical support and installation cycle (install, train, and support) for OPERA Cloud.
  • Prepare and validate customer environment readiness, including property setup, user access, and interface requirements, before go-live.
  • Provide ongoing first- and second-level technical support to ensure system stability after go-live.
• Customer Training & Consultation:
  • Train and consult customers on application usage through virtual meetings and sessions as requested by the customer.
  • Deliver role-based online training for front office, reservations, housekeeping, accounting, and management users.
  • Advise customers on best practices and how to use OPERA Cloud features to improve their operations.
• Vendor Escalation Management:
  • Monitor and review escalated tickets to Oracle until they are resolved.
  • Act as the main technical contact between the customer and the vendor, providing clear issue documentation and reproduction steps.
  • Keep customers informed of escalation status and expected resolution times.
• Customized Configurations:
  • Implement customized configurations according to customer needs, including rate codes, room types, packages, reports, user roles and permissions, and workflows.
  • Configure and test cloud integrations with third-party systems such as POS, channel managers, payment gateways (OPI), and accounting systems through OHIP.
  • Document all configurations and customizations for each customer property.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in PMS implementation or support, including senior-level experience.
• Proven hands-on experience implementing and configuring Oracle OPERA Cloud.

Requirements

• Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of OPERA Cloud modules and hotel operations (front office, reservations, housekeeping, night audit, accounting).
  • Solid understanding of OPERA Cloud administration, configuration, and reporting tools.
  • Experience with ticketing systems and structured escalation processes, including Oracle support.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and virtual presentation skills, with the ability to train non-technical users remotely.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Customer-focused attitude with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple implementations at once.
  • Self-motivated and disciplined in a remote work environment, with flexibility to support go-lives across time zones.

Preferred Qualifications

• Oracle Hospitality OPERA Cloud certifications.
• Experience migrating properties from OPERA on-premises (V5) to OPERA Cloud.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
