As the Senior Manager, Risk Behavior Prevention, you will lead our risk behavior prevention programming, focusing on youth tobacco and vaping prevention. This collaborative role involves:

• Driving strategy, implementation, and growth of initiatives.
• Overseeing program delivery and managing partnerships.
• Supporting and developing staff.
• Strengthening capacity-building efforts.
• Advancing whole-child health through innovative programming.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public health, education, social work, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Significant experience leading youth tobacco prevention and risk behavior prevention programs.
• Demonstrated success in supervising, coaching, and developing staff.
• Strong project and grant management experience.
• Experience developing and facilitating training and technical assistance.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and project management tools.
• Commitment to health equity and AFHK's mission.
• Ability to travel periodically within Colorado and occasionally out of state.

• Manage complex programs and grants from strategy through execution.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team.
• Strengthen the capacity of schools and community partners.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with funders and stakeholders.
• Integrate prevention expertise across AFHK's District Impact Network.
• Use data and evaluation findings to improve programs.
• Advance AFHK's substance use prevention strategy and growth.
• Collaborate across teams to align prevention efforts with AFHK's mission.
