Role Description

The Senior Manager, Environmental, Health & Safety leads the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company's EHS operating model and compliance.

• Leads the effective development, implementation and continuous improvement of the company's EHS operating model, strategic objectives, goals, other initiatives and related compliance.
• Guides engagement, development, and performance management of EHS team members, directly managing up to 10 employees.
• Integrates EHS policies, standards, procedures and controls into broader operations and business strategies.
• Collaborates with company locations on EHS performance, develops and improves strategies to prevent injuries and incidents.
• Oversees regulatory compliance, supports company locations with new requirements, interacts with regulatory officials.
• Develops and delivers effective EHS training and communications, manages activities of outside EHS consultants and vendors.
• Analyzes injury and incident data to understand patterns and trends, identifies and proposes practical solutions to mitigate risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required
• 7+ years EHS role in a corporate or government environment required
• Environmental Health Specialist (EHS) Professional certification preferred

Requirements

• Travel up to 50%
• Proven ability to lead and develop people, build high-performing inclusive teams, translate strategic vision into actionable plans.
• Significant knowledge, expertise, and experience in EHS and demonstrated ability to integrate EHS into broader business and operations processes.
• Deeply understand business and operational strategies and objectives and apply and align them with EHS strategies and objectives.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive, collaborative leadership style.
• Demonstrated ability to own and execute projects and other work to deliver high results.
