Role Description

This role involves joining our GTA practice as a Senior Manager, providing a unique opportunity to apply and develop litigation and forensic accounting skills.

• Working closely with the Partners to provide client service and manage day-to-day field work on various assignments.
• Ensuring quality and timeliness of working papers and deliverables.
• Managing several engagements simultaneously.
• Performing detailed and complex financial analysis.
• Assisting with interviews related to fraud or misconduct.
• Preparing file documentation and managing documents appropriately.
• Assisting in the preparation of written reports summarizing procedures and findings.
• Establishing and monitoring project budgets, ensuring timely billing and collections.
• Assisting Partners in new client evaluation and risk management practices.
• Supervising junior employees on engagements and administrative projects.
• Participating in marketing and business development activities at a Senior Manager level.
• Traveling out of town in Canada or internationally on short notice, possibly involving extended travel periods.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of professional experience, including 2-4 years in a forensic role and 2+ years of assurance/audit experience.
• Chartered Professional Accountant designation required.
• Business degree required.
• Excellent computer skills (MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access).
• Experience with data analytics, SQL database, or eDiscovery software such as Relativity is an asset.
• Chartered Business Valuator designation, CA∙IFA designation, and Certified Financial Forensics (CFF) credential are assets.
