Role Description

This role involves providing operational leadership for three programs under Devoted Medical’s Specialty Care umbrella: Virtual Cardiology, Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), and Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD).

• Virtual Cardiology: Provides advanced primary care cardiology services in a virtual telehealth setting.
• Congestive Heart Failure: Serves members with specific types of heart failure, offering education and coaching from registered nurses.
• Chronic Kidney Disease: Helps members learn about their disease and improve clinical outcomes.

You’ll be the operational architect behind AI-enabled, technology-forward, and clinically complex programs that change how our members understand and manage their conditions.

Responsibilities and impact will include:

• Performance: Drive operational results to achieve population quality outcomes and reduce avoidable hospitalizations.
• Cross-functional execution: Manage performance against operating KPIs and clinical outcomes.
• Analysis: Leverage data analysis tools to determine root cause barriers to major problems.
• Process Improvement: Own portfolio of high-value cross-disciplinary initiatives to advance programmatic efficiency.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience leading clinical operations with accountability for operational metrics and health outcome metrics.
• Demonstrated ability to drive new initiatives and achieve direct business outcomes.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to establish quantitative goals.
• Track record of success delivering results for complex operational problems.
• Past experience leading a team, project, or implementation towards challenging goals.
• Proficiency with tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau.
• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to distill complex concepts into actionable insights.
• A learning mindset; comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment.
• Proven leadership, agility, and collaboration skills.
• Experience connecting the dots of U.S. healthcare, and/or graduate-level degree (MBA, MPA, MPH).

Requirements

• Healthcare ecosystem fluency through hands-on experience at clinics, health programs, payers, or relevant graduate-level education.
• AI and automation proficiency with curiosity about emerging technologies.
