[Hiring] Senior Journey Consultant @Nortal

Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Journey Consultant to join a dynamic team supporting a large-scale digital customer engagement ecosystem. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and optimization of sophisticated, multichannel customer journeys using Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) and Adobe Experience Platform (AEP).

This is a hands-on senior position that combines technical expertise, strategic thinking, and team mentorship. You'll take ownership of the end-to-end journey orchestration lifecycle, translating business needs into scalable, personalized customer experiences. You'll also collaborate with architects, data specialists, campaign teams, and business stakeholders to continuously improve customer engagement capabilities.

What you’ll do

• Journey Design & Orchestration
  • Design and implement complex, multistep, multichannel customer journeys using Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO).
  • Define journey entry conditions, event-driven triggers, decision logic, branching, timing, and exit criteria.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable journey designs and actionable implementation plans.
  • Collaborate with solution architects to ensure technical alignment and best practices.
• Technical Implementation & Integrations
  • Configure event-driven journeys and integrate relevant customer data sources.
  • Work with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Real-Time CDP to leverage customer profiles, audiences, and real-time event data.
  • Collaborate with data engineering and operations teams to troubleshoot data flows and ensure reliable event processing.
  • Develop and execute initial test scenarios to validate journey functionality.
• Journey Optimization & Delivery
  • Take ownership of production journeys, ensuring performance, reliability, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor journey execution, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements.
  • Manage change requests, new triggers, and journey updates based on evolving business needs.
  • Partner with Quality Engineering teams to support testing, regression validation, and successful releases.
  • Provide progress updates and communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
• Technical Leadership & Collaboration
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other Journey Consultants.
  • Review journey designs and implementations to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Share best practices, develop documentation, and contribute to knowledge transfer across teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen journey orchestration capabilities.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on, production-level experience with Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), including event-driven triggers, conditional logic, and multichannel journey orchestration.
• Solid understanding of Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Real-Time CDP, including customer profiles, audience segmentation, and event data.
• Proven experience designing and implementing customer journeys based on business requirements.
• Ability to troubleshoot integrations, event processing, and data flows within customer engagement platforms.
• Experience managing and optimizing live, production-level customer journeys.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Previous experience mentoring or providing technical guidance to other team members.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with distributed teams and work in alignment with US Eastern Time.
• Advanced English Level is required for this role as you will work with US clients.
