Role Description

Do you care deeply about working with governments to help constituents and advance the digital transformation of countries across the world? This is one of Microsoft's most critical and strategic areas of focus, and we are looking for a leader to lead our engagement with the Defense and Intelligence Industry in the Americas. In this position, you will be working with senior-level officials in government and industry on transformative projects driven by Microsoft technology.

Using extensive industry and sales knowledge, the Industry Advisor, Americas (Defense & Intelligence) will help our sales teams and partners to provide relevant, high-quality solutions and services that enable our government customers to drive digital transformation in the Americas.

The Industry Advisor will:

• Collaborate closely with corporate teams and sales teams in the Americas.
• Build trusted relationships with important accounts.
• Deliver thought leadership in the Defense sector.
• Work regionally based in the US and collaborate with colleagues in other geographies.
• Involve up to 50% travel, with some global travel required occasionally.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Health Sciences, Supply Chain, Education, Business or related field AND 3+ years customer-facing experience in relevant fields OR
• Bachelor's Degree in the same fields AND 5+ years customer-facing experience OR equivalent experience.

Requirements

• Active U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance.
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
• Verification of U.S citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions.

Benefits

• Typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $107,600 - $187,500 per year.
• Different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, is USD $145,600 - $205,600 per year.
• Industry Advisory IC5 typical base pay range across the U.S. is USD $133,000 - $222,700 per year.
• Different range for specific locations is USD $170,300 - $239,800 per year.
