[Hiring] Senior Fuels Technical Specialist @Bristol Bay Construction Holdings LLC

Role Description

SES Energy Services LLC is expanding its workforce and is seeking a Senior Fuels Technical Specialist to join our growing Fuels Business Line. This position supports the business line through engineering analyses, technical writing, permit applications, project coordination, and technical assistance to project teams.

• Develop and support technical scopes of work for repair and modification tasks involving Department of Defense (DoD) fuel facilities and ancillary systems under the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Recurring Maintenance and Minor Repair (RMMR) program.
• Prepare and review project-specific preconstruction plans, including Accident Prevention Plans, Quality Control Plans, Environmental Protection Plans, Waste Management Plans, and other required documents.
• Review design plans, technical specifications, and repair requirements for technical accuracy, constructability, and compliance.
• Apply applicable codes, standards, and guidance, including UFC 3-460-01, UFC 3-460-03, and EM 385-1-1.
• Provide technical support to Professional Engineers, project managers, and other project team members.
• Support quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, logistics plans, construction schedules, and proposal development.
• Collaborate with Task Order Safety Managers and project teams to develop work plans for high-risk or complex service orders.
• Assist proposal teams and estimators with subcontractor solicitations, technical writing, and presentations.
• Review work products for technical accuracy and compliance with company quality standards.
• Maintain current knowledge of applicable industry standards and job responsibilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• +7 years of experience in fuel-system construction or engineering.
• Ability to perform quantity takeoffs for various types of construction and projects.
• Ability to review request for proposal package documentation and design plans.
• Ability to provide technical write-up including work scopes and corrective action plans.
• Familiar with current industry standards and practices.
• Experience with API 653 / API 570 Tank and Piping inspection Standards.
• Ability to support pipeline inventory management and commission/start-up coordination.
• Must be able to use Microsoft Office software.
• Ability to use AutoCAD and Bluebeam.
• Up to 20% travel is required.

Requirements

• Pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results.
• Obtain the appropriate clearance levels required for access to military installations.
