[Hiring] Senior Field Service Engineer @Danaher

Role Description

The Senior Field Service Engineer, SEAHKTW is responsible for delivering excellent customer support and service on leading-edge Leica Biosystems products to academic research, pharmaceutical, and clinical diagnostic customers across Hong Kong, Taiwan, and other Southeast Asia regions as required.

• Provide technical support on-site, by phone, email, and remote access for digital pathology products, advanced staining products, and Leica Biosystems’ core histology portfolio.
• Responsible for installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and customer training while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and equipment performance.
• Part of the Commercial Department of LBS located in Hong Kong and will be remote.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience in clinical diagnostic or life sciences instrumentation service.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin.
• Excellent customer-facing communication skills.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.

Requirements

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Leica Biosystems instruments and systems to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
• Provide on-site, remote, email, and phone-based technical support for digital pathology, advanced staining, and core histology products.
• Conduct instrument installations, preventive maintenance, upgrades, and customer training in accordance with standard procedures and quality requirements.
• Collaborate with Sales, Applications, Customer Care, and Technical Support teams to deliver an excellent customer experience and minimize instrument downtime.
• Support service growth by identifying service opportunities, maintaining accurate service records, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives using DBS tools.
