[Hiring] Senior Field Service Engineer @STIUS StemCell Technologies Inc.

Role Description

Are you looking to use your engineering experience in a purpose-driven role? As a Senior Field Service Engineer, you will work closely with our customers to ensure their instruments are operating optimally for their research needs.

• Perform on-site servicing, preventative maintenance, and installation of instruments and their components for our customer base
• Propose and implement solutions related to instrument issues and service problems from low to moderate complexity
• Provide technical support to customers via telephone, virtual meeting, email, and on-site service to minimize customer downtime
• Maintain the fleet of demo instruments and ensure top performance by conducting regular inspections and repairs
• Assist in training junior team members and other duties as required

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in field service in ISO 13485 or GMP environments
• Familiarity with robotics, vision systems, liquid handling, automation, machine controls, and software systems is an asset
• Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings and diagrams
• Excellent collaboration and customer facing skills with a track record of maintaining customer satisfaction and instrument performance
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision following training and onboarding
