Role Description

The Senior Director, Industry Relations is responsible for leading a team of senior account leaders who serve as strategic partners to biopharmaceutical manufacturers across oncology, rare disease, and specialty therapies. This role owns executive-level relationships with a portfolio of the organization's strategic manufacturer partners and is accountable for client satisfaction, program growth, launch excellence, retention, and long-term strategic alignment.

The Senior Director acts as a trusted advisor to senior leaders within biopharma organizations, providing consultation across:

• Commercialization strategy
• Market access
• Patient support programs
• Specialty pharmacy operations
• Launch planning
• Network strategy
• Analytics
• Innovation

This leader serves as the executive escalation point for key client relationships and is expected to proactively identify opportunities, risks, and market shifts that impact client success.

Success in this role requires exceptional leadership capability, executive presence, business acumen, and a deep understanding of oncology and rare disease commercialization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing high-performing teams, influencing senior stakeholders, leading organizational change, and driving measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience
• Typically requires 13+ years of professional experience
• 6+ years of diversified leadership, planning, communication, organization, and people motivation skills (or equivalent experience)
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MS, PharmD, or equivalent) preferred
• Minimum 12 years of healthcare, specialty pharmacy, pharmaceutical manufacturer, market access, or related industry experience
• Minimum 6 years of progressive leadership experience managing managers, directors, or senior-level individual contributors
• Demonstrated experience supporting oncology, rare disease, specialty therapeutics, or complex pharmaceutical commercialization programs
• Proven success managing strategic biopharma partnerships and executive-level relationships

Requirements

• Experience supporting product launches, limited distribution networks, patient support programs, HUB services, specialty pharmacy, or commercialization strategy
• Demonstrated success leading large-scale cross-functional initiatives and organizational transformation efforts
• Experience presenting to executive leadership teams and C-suite stakeholders
• Strong understanding of payer, provider, manufacturer, and specialty pharmacy ecosystems

• Base Pay Range: $138,600 - $231,000
• Other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered
