[Hiring] Senior Director, Head of Commercial Operations and Analytics @Capricor Therapeutics

Role Description

The Senior Director, Head of Commercial Operations will build and lead the commercial operations and analytics capabilities required to support Capricor's anticipated U.S. launch of deramiocel, its lead cell therapy for Duchenne muscular dystrophy. This leader will establish the operational backbone of the commercial organization, including:

• Commercial data and analytics
• Forecasting
• Field operations
• Customer relationship management
• Territory design
• Incentive compensation
• Performance reporting
• Commercial systems

This is a hands-on launch leadership role with end-to-end accountability for translating commercial strategy into scalable processes, actionable insights, and disciplined execution. The position will partner closely with various departments to establish launch-ready capabilities and evolve them as the business grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in commercial operations, sales operations, analytics, forecasting, or a related function within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
• Demonstrated experience supporting a product launch, preferably in rare disease, specialty medicine, cell therapy, gene therapy, or another complex treatment environment.
• Deep expertise in commercial analytics, forecasting, data integration, performance measurement, and field operations.
• Hands-on experience acquiring and integrating commercial data and managing vendor-supported data ecosystems.
• Demonstrated experience designing or implementing commercial data warehouses, master data management, business intelligence, and reporting capabilities.
• Working knowledge of pharmaceutical data sources, including specialty pharmacy, distributor, hub, patient services, claims, customer, and patient-level data.
• Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) platforms, field targeting and alignment, incentive compensation, and launch readiness reporting.
• Strong cross-functional leadership, vendor management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and executive communication skills, with strong attention to detail and documentation discipline.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in analytics, data science, engineering, business, finance, or a related discipline (preferred).
• Experience establishing commercial operations and analytics capabilities in a pre-commercial or early-commercial biotechnology company (preferred).
• Cell therapy, gene therapy, rare disease, or advanced-therapy commercial operations experience (preferred).
• Experience with Veeva CRM, Salesforce, Power BI, Tableau, Snowflake, Databricks, or comparable commercial data and analytics platforms (preferred).
• Familiarity with hub and patient services data integration and treatment center-based commercial models (preferred).
