Role Description

This role involves providing clinical practice to clients across a range of increasingly complex mental health conditions, supporting referrals from the UK insurance business or working directly with corporate clients.

Provide 1-2-1 clinical practice to clients
Be a first point of clinical contact for people with potential mental health issues
Deliver a high quality, effective and safe mental wellbeing service via MS Teams
Senior clinical support responsibilities include:

Delivery of training for mental health clinicians
Facilitating individual and group supervision for clinicians
Conducting regular clinical case notes audits
Carrying out appraisals and case management reviews
Creation, review, and delivery of psychoeducation material
Point of clinical escalation and support for clinical staff
Work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Contribute to reviewing and implementing new processes and protocols
Support recruitment and interviewing
Ensure an outstanding customer experience
Work alongside operational managers and clinical leads
Continuing professional development and training (minimum of 30 hours CPD per year)

Qualifications

Recognised Counselling or Psychotherapy qualification (Level 4 Counselling Diploma) or higher
A post-graduate counselling qualification (e.g. MSc, PGDip) is desirable
A minimum of 450 supervised counselling hours
4+ years full-time post qualification counselling experience
BACP Accredited membership
Rich and varied experience of counselling different sectors and clients
Experience in working with complex cases
Prior experience of working within EAP services is desirable
Flexible attitude to working hours
Strong IT skills – experienced with MS Office packages (including preferably MS Teams)
