[Hiring] Senior Consultant, Application Services @Healthcare Performance Group

Role Description

The purpose of this position is to deliver consulting services offered by Healthcare Performance Group, Inc. (HPG) in such a way that maintains high client satisfaction. The consulting services include application implementation (design, build, test and train), application support and application optimization. This position’s target is to maintain a minimum billable status at a rate of 1,900 hours per year. All responsibilities are to be executed in a way that advances the overall HPG culture and our business strategies.

• Travel to and from customer sites as required by the customer, typically on a weekly basis.
• Manage travel expenses within HPG’s Travel Guidelines.
• Assist the customer in the implementation, support and/or optimization of their applications, including design, build, test, troubleshooting, support and training.
• Be an effective team member within the implementation, support and/or optimization team, including team members from the customer, software vendors and other consulting firms.
• Demonstrate a high level of professionalism in all interactions with customers and third-party personnel.
• Work diligently to achieve project plan completion dates and discuss any obstacles or issues directly with customers.
• Provide project status reports in accordance with customer requirements and provide copies to HPG.
• Research any implementation, support and/or optimization issue that is an obstacle for the customer.
• Maintain an updated professional profile for HPG’s Business Development team.
• Prepare and present skills and experience during interviews with HPG customers or prospective customers.
• Request support from HPG Associates for any application or customer issue.
• Provide support to Business Development as a subject matter expert when requested.
• Provide recruiting referrals where applicable.
• Maintain a minimum of 1,900 billed hours per anniversary year in Senior Consultant projects.
• Perform duties accurately and timely requiring minimal supervision.
• Be a “go-to” resource for customers exploring implementation obstacles, ideas, strategies, tactics, etc.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of EHR implementation, project and/or healthcare experience.
• Proficient with Google Suite and both Microsoft operating systems and Office software.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Problem-solving skills with emphasis on detail and follow-up.
• Ability to work overtime and irregular hours when needed.
• Ability to remain calm, collected and focused on objectives while assisting others.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of documents and information in accordance with HPG’s Privacy and Information Security Policies and HPG’s Customers Policies.
• Ability to work independently, be self-motivated, and demonstrate a “can-do” attitude.
• Ability to follow direction from HPG customers and HPG leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or relevant clinical credentials and experience.
• Clinical education, certification and experience are desirable (e.g. RN, MT, CPhT).
