Role Description

Venbrook Claims is seeking an experienced Claims Adjuster to manage a caseload of General Liability, Construction Defect, and Professional Liability claims, including complex and litigated files, from first notice of loss through resolution. This is a fully remote position.

• 3–5 years of commercial claims handling experience.
• Working knowledge of tower and stackable coverage structures.
• Ability to write clear, well-reasoned coverage position letters independently.
• Candidates located in the Central or Eastern time zone are strongly preferred.
• Multi-state adjuster licensing is required; New York licensure is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of commercial claims handling experience, including General Liability, Construction Defect, and/or Professional Liability.
• Demonstrated experience with tower (vertical) and stackable (layered) coverage structures.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret legal documents.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk Management, Finance, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Insurance designation (e.g., AIC, CPCU, ARM) preferred.

Requirements

• Thorough understanding of General Liability, Construction Defect, and Professional Liability policy forms.
• Skilled at investigating commercial GL, construction, and professional liability claims.
• Experienced in directing outside defense counsel and managing litigation budgets.
• Responsive and professional across all stakeholder groups.
• Working knowledge of multi-state claims handling requirements.
• Prior third-party administrator (TPA) experience preferred.
