[Hiring] Senior Certified Social Compliance Auditor @SGS

Role Description

As the Senior Social Compliance Auditor (CSCA), you will perform third-party audits per SGS Certification procedures and the requirements for standards. The Senior Social Compliance Auditor is responsible for:

• Making relevant decisions concerning the audit process and informing SGS as required to resolve issues outside the audit process.
• Collecting and analyzing sufficient information to provide a recommendation for certification.
• Controlling and performing auditing activities including planning and overseeing other members of audit teams.
• Performing social compliance certification audits in conformance with the CSCA standards efficiently and expediently.
• Remaining qualified for social audits and SMETA in line with SEDEX and CSCA requirements.
• Providing determination on whether registration should be recommended or allowed to continue based on evidence gained during audits.
• Understanding and operating the SGS Certification System in all auditing activities.
• Liaising with Product Managers and Technical Accreditation CBE regarding changes to its design and implementation.
• Controlling and overseeing activities of teams of Auditors during the audit as needed.
• Collaborating with teams of Auditors during auditing activities.
• Striving to provide customers with sufficient audit experience to cover the whole of SGS’s Certification's accredited activities.
• Assisting in the training of other Auditors and Senior Auditors during planned audits or training functions.
• Actively participating in witness audits by SGS or accreditation bodies.
• Maintaining all audit-related credentials.
• Undertaking any other activities as directed by the Manager, Certification Audit CBE or Manager, Technical Accreditation CBE.
• Adhering to internal standards, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science or food.
• APSCA auditors with minimum RA status CSCA is required.
• 5+ years’ work experience in a proven management function in Food / Agri industry with a minimum of 2 years' work experience in code of conduct compliance assurance function or safety, environment & quality management system coordination.
• Minimum 3 years auditing experience and qualified as lead certification auditor including a minimum of two years as a social auditor.
• Experience in delivering training is preferable.

Requirements

• Travels up to 80% of the time - automobile / airplane, some travel might be international with flight time 8+ hours depending on the destination.
• Weekend travel may be necessary to meet utilization requirements.

• Salary: $90,000-$120,000/yearly (based on experience) + Quarterly Bonus.
