Role Description

This position supports the strategy, design, growth, and optimization of Medicare Advantage provider Value-Based Care (VBC) programs and alternative payment models across primary care, facility, and specialty programs.

• Integrating analytical findings, market insights, and business needs to inform VBC program strategy and design.
• Evaluating program performance and identifying strategic enhancements.
• Developing VBC contracting strategies.
• Developing VBC contract templates and program documentation.
• Creating executive-ready recommendations and presentations.

Candidate must possess relevant Medicare Advantage and/or provider VBC experience; exceptional communication and presentation skills; strong strategic and analytical capabilities; and demonstrated ability to independently lead complex workstreams and drive recommendations forward.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience OR 9 years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, project management, business operations, or relevant health care industry experience.
• 3 years of experience leading large and complex multi-million-dollar projects.
• Experience communicating with senior management from multiple divisions.
• Experience developing and delivering presentations.
• Problem resolution experience and skills.
• Knowledge of strategic planning techniques and industry trends.
• Experience interpreting business and financial information and negotiation skills.
• Verbal and written communications skills including establishing working relationships across departments.
• Preparing presentations to senior management and establishing team environment.
• Organizational skills and detail-oriented.
• Experience managing multiple complex projects successfully.
• PC proficiency to include MS Office products.

Requirements

• Master’s degree, such as an MBA, MPH, MHA, or related advanced degree (preferred).
• Direct experience with Medicare Advantage VBC strategy and alternative payment model design (preferred).
• Experience with provider network strategy, provider contracting/value-based contracting, contract development, provider performance, or Medicare Advantage Stars (preferred).
• Experience partnering with analytical teams and translating analytical findings into strategic insights and decisions (preferred).
• Proven strategic thinking and execution (preferred).
• Ability to drive decisions, create optionality and determine impacts of options (preferred).
