[Hiring] Security Advocate @SpecterOps

Role Description

SpecterOps is looking for a Security Advocate to serve as a bridge between SpecterOps and the cybersecurity community. This role is ideal for a technically skilled individual with a passion for teaching, creating content, and connecting with other security professionals. As a Security Advocate, you will:

• Promote the broad suite of SpecterOps’s open-source tools and BloodHound Enterprise.
• Educate users on attack path management.
• Foster engagement with researchers, practitioners, and the community at large.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, red/blue team operations, or related fields.
• Strong technical knowledge of security (preferably identity security), attack paths, and adversary tactics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
• Experience creating and delivering presentations, workshops, and technical content.
• Proficiency in using tools like BloodHound, Ghostwriter, Mythic, and other offensive/defensive security tools.
• Knowledge about other SpecterOps Community/FOSS tools.
• Passion for engaging with the cybersecurity community and fostering collaboration.
• Ability to travel (up to 40%) for events, workshops, and conferences.

Requirements

• Experience as a speaker at security conferences or community events.
• Background in developer advocacy or a similar role focused on community engagement.
• Knowledge of SaaS platforms and enterprise security tools.
