Role Description

Perform SAP application installations, patches, upgrades, and production support across multiple SAP products (ECC, BI, SCM, Solution Manager, Enterprise Portal, PI).

• Administer HANA databases including setting up and managing High Availability and replica configurations.
• Monitor and implement Oracle/HANA database performance improvements for optimal SAP system operations.
• Execute client and system copies, new SAP instance installations, table reorganizations, and connectivity maintenance.
• Manage transport operations with rigorous documentation and change management procedures.
• Configure and monitor backup solutions, perform ad-hoc backups and restores as required.
• Conduct SAP Security Administration including role creation, user account management, and authorization assignments.
• Troubleshoot incidents, coordinate with SAP support, and provide technical guidance to development teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on SAP and HANA Basis administration experience.
• Extensive working experience with ECC, BO, BI, PI, Portal, Solman, SLT, SRM, CRM, Fiori, TM, EM, GRC, Redwood, IDM, HANA, NWDI.
• 4+ years of Oracle database administration experience with performance tuning capabilities.
• 2+ years of Linux Operating Systems administration experience.
• Deep understanding of SAP HANA enterprise DB, High Availability setup, configurations, and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Security concepts and network fundamentals.
• Experience with DB export/import techniques and homogeneous/heterogeneous system copy procedures.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure across multiple time zones.

Requirements

• SAP certifications in ECC, Netweaver, Solution Manager, Portal, HANA, SCM, or SRM (Nice to Have).
• Experience in global SAP implementation programs (Nice to Have).
• Oracle and HANA database certifications (Nice to Have).
• Background in complex technical environments and enterprise-scale operations (Nice to Have).
• Previous experience working with international organizations or UN agencies (Nice to Have).
