[Hiring] Rotating Equipment Maintenance Specialist @Airgas

Role Description

We are looking for a Rotating Equipment Maintenance Specialist to lead and participate in rotating equipment maintenance. Key responsibilities include:

• Leads and participates in rotating equipment maintenance, optimizing maintenance and overhaul costs.
• Collaborates with maintenance teams for onsite overhauls and repairs of large rotating equipment, focusing on GOX compressors.
• Partners with operations and engineering teams to resolve recurring rotating equipment issues.
• Participates in creating and updating Rotating Equipment Policies and Procedures.
• Reviews analysis for preventive or predictive maintenance data.
• Collaborates with intercompany experts and large rotating equipment vendors.
• Makes recommendations to improve equipment maintenance efficiency.
• Participates in risk assessments related to large rotating equipment.
• Inspects new and refurbished large rotating equipment critical spare parts.
• Supports and coordinates equipment refurbishments and rotor/wheel balancing.
• Participates in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for large rotating equipment.
• Provides technical support for troubleshooting and inspection methodologies.
• Participates in developing annual maintenance schedules and budgets.
• Modifies maintenance strategies based on RCA and FMEA results.
• Creates, reviews, and approves maintenance job plans in CMMS.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of technical experience in Rotating Equipment operations, troubleshooting, and design.
• Detailed knowledge in the operation and maintenance of compressors, turbines, pumps, and fans.
• Knowledge of oxygen compression equipment and oxygen cleanliness.
• Expertise in lubrication.
• Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and project planning software.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.

• Willingness to travel 50% of the time.
