Role Description

We are well-established UK property services company seeking a Roofing Coordinator to work remotely from South Africa, with confidence, speed, and compliance. The Roofing Coordinator plays a pivotal role within the Roofing division at Environ Property Services. You will ensure the seamless management of client inquiries, survey bookings, job scheduling, and project delivery within the maintenance department.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring the seamless management of client inquiries, survey bookings, job scheduling for Roofers, Labourers, and subcontractors, and project delivery in support of the roofing team.
• Primary point of contact between clients, surveyors, tradespeople, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Book and coordinate roofing surveys, ensuring timely delivery of reports to clients.
• Ensure tradespeople adhere to schedules and complete jobs efficiently while uploading accurate documentation and photographic evidence.
• Managing job bookings and tracking systems.
• Provide regular project updates to clients, ensuring expectations are managed and satisfaction is maintained.
• Track profit margins, issue invoices, and follow up on payments in line with company terms.
• Act as the key communication point for all parties involved in roofing works.
• Maintain excellent communication and customer service with our client and customer base.
• Manage the surveyors by understanding their capabilities and industry expertise for effective scheduling.
• Proofread reports created by surveyors for punctuation, grammar, and estimated values.
• Handle call backs regarding recurring issues and ensure the correct surveyor attends to failures or misdiagnosis.
• Ensure compliance with company processes and procedures for financial accuracy, safety, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure smooth crossover between divisions and internal communications.
• Work closely with our Project Manager.

Qualifications

• More than 3 years of experience with scheduling/booking of roofing maintenance and repair works for tradesman – roofers, surveyors, technicians, labourers, and subcontractors essential.
• Minimum of 4 years proven background and experience in scheduling, coordinating, and project administration within the property maintenance services or construction industry for roofing projects.
• Property maintenance services or construction industry experience is essential, specifically within the roofing industry.
• Demonstrated experience managing job booking, scheduling works, diary management, and tracking systems.
• Project administration and project tracing experience essential.
• Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Google Workspace and comfortable using CRM or project management platforms.
• Excellent team and client management & communication skills essential.

• A company laptop may be provided after successfully passing 6 months probationary period.
