Role Description

As a Risk & Assurance Analyst, you’ll strengthen the frameworks that keep our organisation resilient, informed, and consistently improving.

• Remote - travel across the South of England and occasionally wider is required
• Salary: £39,579.20 per annum + travel expenses
• Contract: Full time, 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday, Permanent

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, spot patterns, and identify issues.
• Clear, concise report writing skills suitable for senior stakeholders.
• Ability to translate processes into accessible procedures and guidance.
• Strong organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Experience within risk, assurance, audit, governance, or a similar structured/compliance environment.
• Ability to build effective relationships, provide constructive challenge, and improve risk and control information.
• Collaborative, confident working style that supports the embedding of consistent risk and assurance practices.

Requirements

• Experience in internal audit, assurance reviews, or risk management frameworks.
• Training or qualifications in internal audit or risk management (or willingness to pursue them).
• Familiarity with government or public sector standards such as The Orange Book.
• Experience supporting governance reporting or committee preparation.
• Understanding of role‑based access control (RBAC).
