Role Description

We are looking for a talented, hardworking individual with great energy and initiative to provide RFx bid management support within a shared-services RFx/bid management team. This includes:

• Best practices that value the time, skills, and experience of all resources needed to prepare RFx submissions.
• Co-delivering knowledge transfer to our growing sales teams.
• Co-developing learning assets.
• Curating relevant content to support RFx responses.
• Acting as a knowledge repository for go-to-market activities.
• Working with Sales team and Business Development to pre-position and seed RFx processes.
• Influencing customer perception, improving RFx win rate, and avoiding RFP processes.

This role requires:

• Equal parts organization, attention to detail, problem analysis and resolution.
• Knowledge of the procurement process in a public sector marketplace.
• Ability to handle a variety of requests/projects across a broad spectrum of topics with differing priority levels and deadlines.
• Customer service orientation and ability to work independently.
• Comfort operating with a high sense of urgency and agility.
• Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, high-growth, and dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a proposal development/bid management role selling products and services responding to government solicitations.
• 5+ years of experience in the technology consulting industry in a writing role supporting responses for government organizations.
• Past experience establishing bid practices within an organization from the ground up.
• Experience with technical writing for proposing system integrations, consultations, or project management in cloud Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), or Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) area is a plus.
• Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Gdocs, Gsheets, Gchat).
• Self-motivated to excel in a remote position collaborating effectively with a remote team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to work occasional overtime if necessary.
• Experience utilizing AI tools to streamline content creation, improve proposal efficiency, and enhance narrative quality.

Highly Desirable skills

• Experience in project delivery and solution development in the Public Cloud industry (IaaS, iPaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
