Role Description

We are looking for a talented Junior Revenue Management Engineer to join our dynamic, innovative, and rapidly expanding team of ambitious professionals in Belgium. As a Junior Revenue Management Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimising and maximising the revenue potential of hotels and bed and breakfast establishments through our cutting-edge OTA (Online Travel Agency) ranking algorithm.

• Collaborate with the revenue management team to develop and enhance the OTA ranking algorithm, ensuring it remains effective and competitive in the dynamic hospitality industry.
• Analyze data related to hotel performance, market trends, and consumer behavior to identify opportunities for revenue optimization.
• Assist in the implementation and execution of revenue management strategies to increase occupancy rates, ADR (Average Daily Rate), and RevPAR (Revenue per Available Room).
• Conduct regular audits of hotel profiles on various OTAs (Booking, Airbnb, Expedia, Trivago) to ensure accurate and optimized content.
• Monitor competitor pricing, availability, and market demand to recommend pricing adjustments and promotions to maximize revenue.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to align revenue management strategies with overall business goals.
• Generate reports and presentations to communicate key findings, performance metrics, and revenue optimization strategies to internal stakeholders.
• Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements related to revenue management and OTAs.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in finance, economics or data science
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R) is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for continuous learning and staying ahead of industry trends.
