Role Description

As a Revenue Cycle Associate, you’ll play a key role in assisting both our internal team and healthcare providers in navigating disputes with insurance carriers and managed care organizations. You’ll be responsible for contacting insurance companies to check on the status of claims and appeal submissions, using online payer portals and direct phone calls. Additionally, you'll handle administrative tasks such as gathering medical records and processing mail.

In this role, you'll gain a deep understanding of healthcare claims processes, ERISA regulations, and Commercial and Managed Care Insurance policies. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform follow-up status requests through telephone, internet, and/or fax requests.
• Process incoming and outgoing mail, scanning, and document consolidation and indexing.
• Organize and maintain documents in a paper or electronic filing system.
• Maintain a working knowledge of internal policies and client systems and credentials.
• Assist in special projects as assigned.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree (preferred).
• Prior experience in Revenue Cycle or insurance follow-up, claims processing, or medical billing (preferred).
• Remote Work Experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize within a dynamic environment.
• Ability to adhere to all HIPAA and company policies and regulations.
