MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Request to Initiate Purchase (RIP) Lead to join our vehicle sustainment team. This position is Remote.

The selected candidate will provide support to the Allied Logistics Engineering Capabilities Sustainment (ALECS) program. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Review Purchase Requisitions for accuracy, ensuring adequate funding exists to satisfy the proposed purchase.
• Create RIPs and submit them for government approval, tracking these requests until government approval has been granted.
• Respond to any questions that arise along the approving chain.
• Maintain a database containing all approved RIPs while coordinating with the appropriate requisitioner and buyer to give approval to proceed with the purchase.
• Monitor and interpret changes in purchase requirements to ensure consistent funding application, initiating and monitoring all RIP revisions.
• Participate in the reconciliation of RIP documents to assist in determining correct voucher association.
• Create RIP revisions as necessary to allow for RIP reconciliation and close out, ensuring weekly close out of RIPs to relieve funds.
• Generate weekly reports for Program Management, identifying outstanding orders and facilitating the reconciliation and close out.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of relevant experience, or a High school diploma and 10 years of experience.
• Proficient in MS Office, MS Outlook, Excel, and other office equipment.
• Ability to successfully pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening.
• Must possess a Valid Driver’s License for the location in which the work will be performed.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Requirements

• Willingness to travel to various US or OCONUS locations.
• Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance prior to starting this position.
• Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch, and kneel.
• Must be able to push, pull, and reach.
• Must be able to work with computers and CRTs, and type on a computer keyboard.
