Role Description

As the Regional Vice President of Commercial Revenue Strategy with HVMG, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the revenue performance of our hotel portfolio. This role will lead and support our Directors of Revenue Strategy and Revenue Analysts in the development, execution, and optimization of commercial strategies that drive topline revenue, profitability, and market share across a portfolio of our properties.

  • Lead and oversee Directors of Revenue Strategy across a diverse, multi-market hotel portfolio
  • Establish and enforce portfolio-wide revenue strategy standards, guardrails, and governance
  • Ensure consistency in pricing disciplines while allowing market-specific flexibility
  • Guide Directors of Revenue Strategy to execute strategies to maximize revenue and profits across all topline revenue generating segments
  • Oversee pricing architecture, BAR strategy, discounting controls, and promotional governance
  • Drive optimal mix, length-of-stay strategies, and day-of-week demand balancing
  • Coach and develop Directors of Revenue Strategy, strengthening analytical and strategic capabilities
  • Ensure consistency in skill sets, decision-making frameworks, and performance expectations
  • Identify talent gaps, succession needs, and development opportunities within the revenue discipline
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Partner with Corporate Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to ensure commercial alignment
  • Influence sales strategies, group evaluation processes, and account prioritization
  • Support alignment between revenue strategy, sales execution, and marketing efforts
  • Serve as a strategic revenue advisor to asset managers, owners, and brand partners
  • Provide strategic oversight of channel mix, distribution costs, and net revenue performance
  • Evaluate effectiveness and adoption of revenue management systems, BI tools, and CRM platforms
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation, analytics, and process design
  • Ensure data accuracy, system integrity, and trust in reporting outputs
  • Present portfolio performance, outlooks, and strategic initiatives to executive leadership and owners
  • Clearly articulate revenue strategy rationale and recommended actions
  • Build credibility and confidence through data-driven storytelling and results

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Hospitality, Business, Finance and/or related field, or combination of education and job-related experience
  • 10+ Years of Leadership for Multi-Property Hotel Revenue Management or Commercial Strategy
  • Portfolio or Corporate-Level Hotel Revenue Strategy Experience, Required
  • Multi-Brand Experience, specifically Marriott and Hilton, Required. Hyatt/IHG, Preferred
  • Experience working directly with ownership Groups, Asset Managers, and Brand Partners, Required

  • Proficiency with Revenue Management Systems, BI Platforms, Forecasting/Finance Tools
  • Advanced Excel and Data Visualization Capabilities
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and influence skills
  • Ability to balance strategy with hands-on problem solving
  • Exceptional communication with the ability to build trust, influence without authority, and navigate complex interpersonal dynamics across ownership, executive, corporate, and property-level stakeholders
  • This position will require up to 50% travel
  • Position is remote-based
