[Hiring] Regional Vice President, Merchandising @Sysco

Role Description

Leads Regional Merchandising teams at 1-3 sites and manages a group of Merchandising associates at the home site. Collaborates with Regional & Market leadership teams to achieve KPIs and executes market replenishment to achieve KPI goals. Accountable for the overall performance, management, and development of the Regional merchandising departments.

• Achieve department and company goals, including exemplary customer order fulfillment while managing inventory to the optimal DSO (Days Supply On Hand).
• Support Regional profitability through product cost and equity management.
• Participate and support sales growth strategies.
• Deploy inbound logistic strategies.
• Drive replenishment strategy that contributes to warehouse operational efficiencies.
• Execute corporate strategies such as Category Management and Product Assortment Management to meet sales demands.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in lieu of degree sufficient to successfully perform essential job functions.
• 8+ years management/professional experience, with significant category management, merchandising, and/or operations experience within a retail, wholesale, or distribution environment preferred.
• Master’s degree (preferred).
• Strong Excel skills (preferred).
