Role Description
The Regional Manager oversees General Managers ensuring they have appropriate staff oversight, including:
- Timely arrivals to work
- Write-ups in collaboration with HR
- Base pay for site staff employee budgets
- Suppressing operational costs based on guest visitation and resort need
Provides ongoing support as needed.
- Ensures GMs strictly enforce budgets, employee compliance, HR requirements, etc.
- Helps curate and craft culture throughout the organization with mottos such as:
- Welcome to Your Happy Place
- Hospitality Reimagined
- Every Guest is a V.I.P.
- Ensures GMs and their subordinates attend ongoing required training sessions.
- Oversees staff to stay on budget, provide quality customer service, remain professional, and set forth appropriate chain of command communication to resolve issues.
- Travels monthly to visit resorts in their region, meeting with resort team members, curating teamwork culture, and conducting site quality assurance.
- Facilitates growth and positivity from teams under leadership.
- Communicates effectively and routinely with the Director of Resort Operations.
- Attends budget review meetings, addressing presented issues with GMs and resorts as needed to suppress costs and remain on budget.
- Ensures GMs of each resort stay within a budget margin of 5%+/- annually.
- Crafts updated policies and procedures as needed, delivering them to GMs and ensuring implementation at the resort level.
- Brings harmony to the work environment.
- Responsible for ensuring employee/resort compliance with policies and procedures.
- Reports directly to the Director of Resort Operations regarding operational issues, budget concerns, direct report employee issues, and brainstorming implementation solutions.
- Identifies talent for future roles, including interviewing possible new candidates for leadership roles.
- Understands company technology and software tools at length, ensuring direct report teams attend ongoing required training from the Training Department.
- Attends scheduled meetings on a timely and routine basis with leadership and various teams as needed.
