[Hiring] Regional Marketplace Manager @ABC Legal Services

Role Description

You own our major Western markets end-to-end, spanning California, Arizona, Washington, Colorado, Utah, Nevada, and Oregon. This role is well suited to someone who has previously worked in a market that was underperforming and knows how to turn it around.

• Identify problematic areas in the market before a scorecard tells you.
• Know where supply and demand are out of balance.
• Carry the relationships with our highest-volume servers yourself.
• Be accountable for the region hitting its KPIs.
• Collect data independently and pair it with on-the-ground judgment.
• Collaborate with centralized Process Server Network teams and project managers to implement changes.
• Drive real change in your market and feed learnings back for scalability.
• Work closely with Compliance and Support & Experience teams.
• Write and execute the playbook in real time.

What You’ll Own

• Supply and demand balance across Western regions.
• Identifying problematic areas in the market.
• Building relationships with the region’s highest-volume servers.
• Conducting root cause analysis when performance issues arise.
• Incident response for your region when disruptions occur.
• Execution of marketplace pilots and tracking outcomes.
• Managing regional incentive spend within your budget.
• Regional SLO attainment and market health reporting.
• Direct management of W2 employees, including time card approval and performance reviews.
• Feeding structured learnings back for program refinement.

Qualifications

• Experience owning a local market, territory, or region in a marketplace, gig, or field operations environment.
• A data background with the ability to collect data independently.
• Experience managing W2 employees, including approving time cards and completing performance reviews.
• Comfort working with project managers on in-market initiatives.
• Ability to coach direct reports to higher performance.
• Desire to be on the ground in the market.
• Ability to distill market observations into actionable feedback.
• Clear communication of market health to leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience running structured pilots or tests with clear hypotheses.
• SQL or dashboard fluency (Metabase, Looker, Claude Code).
• Comfortable working in Jira or similar trackers.
• Experience building in ambiguous environments.
• Understanding of coaching differences in contract or hourly roles.

Pay and Schedule

• Pay: $70,000–$85,000 (depending on experience).
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday.
• Travel: ~20%.
• This position is remote, but you must be located in California, Arizona, Washington, Colorado, Utah, Nevada, or Oregon.
